Aaliyah Alicia Thompson is an amazing person who has made history by being the first individual with autism to open a beauty bar and nail school. Her goal is to empower people on the autism spectrum. Aaliyah understands the difficulties faced by families, especially during challenging economic times. Recently, she attended Afro Tech in Texas, where McDonald's recognized her and other Change Leaders by presenting them with a generous $10,000 check. This act of kindness inspired Aaliyah to pay it forward by giving $500 and a shopping trip to Walmart or Target to 10 single parents who are raising children with autism. She will announce the winners on her Instagram page, , on Friday, December 15, so they can take advantage of the best deals before Christmas.
