I appreciate the transparency behind Fumed curators since its initial conception, with an invite to Chicago for March that I unfortunately could not make. I ALSO appreciated a personal visit from the founder upon deciding Atlanta would be the next stop. “I could not plan something in your city without checkin in”. To me, that spoke volumes.

Too many people out here just throwin their names in the hat without even knowin the hat aint the hard part.

Looking forward to meeting so many other indie perfumers and fragrance lovers during the weekend. This summer has tested every level of my entrepreneurial journey, and although Im not in the clear fully, the analysis paralysis that has kept me quiet, anxious and stressed is something l can no longer succumb to.

A sister here in Georgia sent me some Gowe last May. I burned it as incense like I burn bakhoor regularly. I didnt know how to traditionally extract it properly and just moved on. There are so many natural things from the continent that go ignored until some euro based company uses it and then its a “discovery”. I really hope this whole situation lands .njie.perfumes into the next stratosphere not only as a perfumer but her brand as well.
