I hope everyone is feeling their best. If that's not the case, we need to act. You're the best advocate for yourself since you know your feelings better than anyone.

No matter what you’re going through just know that it’s going to be alright. Quitting and giving up is not an option. πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½β€οΈβ€οΈ

Having fibromyalgia is sometimes alit to deal with for some. I was having chest pains told my doctor and he did this work-up to make sure my heart is good. So I have already had 2 ekgs now I have a nuclear stress test to do.
I’m happy he is taking my issues serious. Even though I pray my heart is all good.

I hope we can all go through life without having to call 9-1-1. However, the odds are we will ALL have to at some point. Here are a few things to remember when that time comes.
1. You may get an auto answer telling you "All operators are busy. DO NOT HANG UP!" There are a limited number of call takers and if you are calling to report a fire, car crash, or something else in a public space so are many other people. STAY ON THE LINE! When you hang up and dial again you go to the end of the que. There simply isn't an unlimited number of call takers available.
2. The call taker's job is to obtain information that will cause the closest, most appropriate responder(s) to be dispatched. ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS calmly and without challenging or arguing with them. Some questions may seem inappropriate to you, but they are following a proven method for gathering critical information and cannot deviate from it. They may be able to give you instructions to make the situation better or safer until help arrives too.
3. 9-1-1 is for EMERGENCY situations! Fires, accidents, drowning, crimes in progress, assaults, and a host of other things check that box. Locked out of my house, lost my wallet at WalMart, my dog ran away, the school bus is late, my electricity got cut off, I have had a tooth ache for a week but don't drive, etc. are NOT emergency situations! Of course if in doubt, go ahead and call but be prepared to be referred to a non-emergency service.
9-1-1 centers are professional, highly technical operations that are the FIRST point of contact in an emergency. Quick and effective response to every emergency is their goal. Help them reach that goal when YOU have an emergency!
