Try Something New Tuesday ✨

Growth starts the moment you say yes to something different.
Today, that yes was zucchini fries paired with a bunless turkey burger —and they were delicious 😋

Trying new meals is more than food. It’s choosing curiosity over comfort.
It’s reminding yourself that change doesn’t have to be hard to be powerful.

Every new choice—on your plate or in your life—is a vote for the person you’re becoming.

Keep showing up. Keep experimenting. Keep believing that better can taste really good.

New choices. New energy. New you.

Learning something new requires patience. Not the kind that rushes results, but the kind that shows up again and again—especially on the hard days.

Growth doesn’t happen in a straight line. There are pauses, mistakes, and moments of doubt. But persistence is powerful.

Each small effort builds confidence, skill, and understanding. If you stay consistent and give yourself grace, you will get better.

Keep going—progress is happening, even when it feels slow.

No new goals, no new promises—just honoring my wellness through consistent, intentional choices that serve me well.

Consistency creates trust with my body, brings balance to my mind, and allows small daily habits to compound into lasting health.

It’s not about perfection, but about showing up regularly and choosing what supports my well-being, again and again.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our 16 year old. Brunch made for a young athlete 😋. Praying God's best over his life and that he will fulfill the entire will of God for his life. The celebration continues 🙌🏾

I love when meals I imagine come together beautifully. Shrimp and andouille sausage sautéed with crushed tomato, peppers, and onions. Served over jasmine rice with roasted vegetables. This meal had me feeling like home.

That look you have when done is more important than perfect.

The pride in what you’ve accomplished matters more than flawless ex*****on.

Celebrate progress, embrace your effort, and let your finish line inspire your next step.

My weekly meal prep isn’t fancy—it’s about having a few staples that make life smoother and healthier. 💕
Here are the go-to’s I prep almost every week:

🥗 Washed + chopped veggies (easy snacks or sides)

🍗 Grilled chicken or turkey (protein for bowls/wraps)

🍚 Quinoa or brown rice (base for quick meals)

🥚 Hard-boiled eggs (grab-and-go fuel)

🍓 Fresh fruit (sweet, ready-to-eat snacks)

These little habits save me from stress eating or skipping meals.

Meal prep doesn’t have to be overwhelming—just consistent. ✨

Small steps = big impact.

Wellness isn’t always about big changes—it’s often found in the simple things.

Cleaning and organizing your space, creating peace as you declutter, slipping into fresh sheets, and stacking folded clothes.

These small choices build the foundation for a powerful, successful week ahead.

When your space is in order, it’s easier to fit in that workout and make time for meal prep—without the guilt.

Today, I had the best time joining my son in a 2K Color Run 🌈👟. Instead of feeling like a workout, it felt like a celebration — music, laughter, colors flying, and memories made. It reminded me that moving our bodies doesn’t always have to feel like “exercise.” It can be fun, energizing, and full of joy.

Here are a few other ways to make fitness fun:
💃🏾 Turn on your favorite playlist and dance it out.
🚴 Go on a family bike ride and explore a new trail.
🎾 Try a new sport or activity (pickleball, tennis, roller skating).
🌳 Turn your walk into an adventure by exploring a park, hiking trail, or nature path.
🏀Turn movement into quality time — play tag, frisbee, or basketball with your kids.
🎯 Set mini-challenges like a step count goal or a push-up contest with friends.

The key is finding joy in movement — when you enjoy it, you’ll look forward to it. 💪🏾💖

What’s your favorite fun way to exercise?
