I have been lucky in life to work with some very smart mentors and business professionals. I have worked alongside surgeons, architects, CPAs, attorneys, and learned many things about life and business.

A common trait I observe is their structure in nearly everything they do. This extends beyond their professional lives - it is how they live, in the details.

When I cut a business haircut, I like to see what the hair is doing by itself without any product or interference. This way, I can see what the hair "wants" to do.

It has been my experience that if I cut hair with the mindset of letting it do what it does naturally, it usually looks cleaner and more consistent throughout the day and between appointments without spending a long time in front of the mirror.
