The thing I say the most to my students is , you literally don’t have to have a thing figured out to get started . I started on a random weekday with not a plan in the world . No vendor , no website and hell , really no supplies . Just a $100 wig and 2 $5 bottles of color .

The longer you hid behind “perfection” the further you position yourself from your dreams . No , you don’t know the outcome but that’s either way and at the end of the day you keep praying , whole time God waiting on you .

Teaching is a passion I never knew I had but I’m so glad I ran with it . After 5 years of teaching , I’m ready to give the girls something BIGGER .

This lane of entrepreneurship isn’t easy. I don’t care how good it looks online or what people tell you. We ALL have made mistakes and believe it or not we share some of the same daily struggles. No, you won’t become a master of this craft overnight. Yes you’ll have moments of doubt.

I’m never going to lie or sugar coat but one thing I can guarantee is that IF you don’t give up , it’ll all pay off one day . I went from 2-3 days to make a wig to 30 minutes or less but it didn’t happen in 24 hours .

Thankful for the girls who are choosing to have me as their teacher on their hair journey . I can’t wait to look back and see how far you’ve come because you decided to stop letting fear hold you back 🔐

Idk who told yall , you needed a room full of supplies just to get started . Everything comes with time but skipping steps won’t help you get there any faster , I promise .

You’ll end up burnt out feeling like “I’ve tried everything” when in reality you built a brand on a rocky foundation . Mastering your craft comes before the $300 sally runs and $2,000 wholesale orders / sold out drops.

Save this for later because this is REALLY what you need to start making custom wigs . My job as your educator is to give you the real , even when you don’t want to hear it .

I can’t lie , I was scared of color too . Jet black was for sure my safe zone because it felt like you couldn’t go wrong . Side part or middle it’s a hit . Until I realized it’s literally not the only color that looks good on me.

That rich chocolate brown with a pop of blonde was the perfect switch for me because it’s not loud or over bearing and it’s something I can actually feel comfortable wearing every day .. in real life .

I think the real reason color felt scary is because I use to let people talk me into crazy colors that I knew for a fact I didn’t want to be in past the night .
