Convenience definitely came at a cost this time. 😩 After regularly visiting the Dominican salon for the convenience, I ended up with more heat damage than I expected and had to cut a significant amount of my hair.

I’m even considering cutting a little more, but for now, my hair is going under a closure wig and taking a much-needed break from heat. 🤍 The bonus? I can protect my natural hair while still switching up my look whenever I want. ✨

The braids have done their job… now it’s time to bring those bundles back out. ✨

I only flexi rod my hair once a week, and that’s the beauty of quality hair. I don’t have to curl it every morning—just take off my bonnet, lightly comb through the curls, and go! 😍

Honestly, my favorite part is when the curls start to drop. They transform into the prettiest full, soft, bouncy look. Yes, they’re super tight at first, but trust the process… it’s so worth it! 👏🏽

Today was all about pouring back into ourselves—starting with a B12 shot, grabbing fresh groceries, picking up a few things for home (yes, I finally found the ceramic plates 😍), and simply enjoying a wellness day together.
