Femme Fatale is a showcase created to display female barbers in a beautiful light instead of the shadow of male counterparts. Often barber showcases have a small portion of the show dedicated to lady barbers. Usually off to the side and not a main attraction. Lady barbers are trail blazing, innovative, bad ass artists and entrepreneurs. A box should not have to be checked in order to be accepted as a respected artist. Women shouldn’t have to be overly sexual, overly masculine, or overly nice. Lady barbers should be allowed to simply cut hair.

The showcase this year was very unconventional. It was a private visual experience. A mashup between an art exhibit and a Barber show. Each participant had their own time to display whatever art they desired with their model. The solo time allowed for guests to be fully immersed in one artist at a time.
