I say this with love…y’all gotta RELAX! The women you see on my page come to me and PAY for a service! They’re not models used to promote my business. If they’re comfortable showing their face then cool. If posting the front of their install aligns with my content, I’ll post it, if not then oh well! I’m not editing their face out, putting anything over their face or anything else just so you can look at it and probably still not book! These women saw the back of someone else’s head too, they booked and paid me. If I’m going to respect ANYONES wishes when it comes to content, it will be my paying clients, not spectators.

The front of their hair has nothing to do with the front of your hair anyway. This is why everyone has to do a consultation so I can assess your hair and see what I’m going to do with YOUR Hair. I love that y’all wanna support me but it will not be at the expense of people who have already supported me. 🥰

Can we PLEASE stop blaming Ktips for damaging hair? Yes it can damage your hair but it’s not because the technique itself is damaging, it’s US!

If a Ktip install is done incorrectly, they can damage your hair.
If you don’t maintain your install, they can damage your hair.
If they’re taken down incorrectly, they could damage your hair.

ALL THREE OF THESE THINGS ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT!
If one of these 3 things are done incorrectly YES KTIPS CAN DAMAGE YOUR HAIR!! 🤷🏾‍♀️

We have to start taking accountability for how WE handle hair. When I say WE I mean the Stylist AND the Client. Both parties
have a responsibility in making sure that the install is not damaging!

Stylist need to have integrity and knowledge when they install Ktips.

Clients need to be dedicated to taking care of their install because you spend more time with your hair than the stylist. It’s YOUR JOB to make sure they don’t tangle and are shampooed. A stylist can’t make you brush your hair daily or make you come back to get a shampoo service.

The client has to COME BACK to get them taken down and the stylist has to be AVAILABLE and KNOWLEDGEABLE enough to take them down!

Clients.. before you book, ask about the maintenance and the take down! Make sure you can handle the maintenance and make sure the stylist actually cares about your hair after getting your money.

I get text and text DAILY of clients looking for someone to maintain and take down their ktips because the original stylist can’t. That shouldn’t be the case! I also have clients of my own who never come for a shampoo service and go against EVERY RULE I put in place! 😩😩🤦🏾‍♀️

We can’t blame Ktips when WE aren’t doing our part!
Ktips can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare depending on the stylist and the client. 🥰

Everyone gets a full Head of K-tips when they come to me but everyones full head of K-Tips looks different.

Some people say they want a certain number of grams and that’s cool but honestly it’s less about what you want and more about what you can get and what you need.

I use your density to determine how much hair you need and how much you can get. The more hair you have, the more hair you’ll need and the more hair you can get.

Think of K-Tips as an enhancement to your silk press because that’s your foundation. All your hair is out so I’m attaching to what you have not putting extensions on top of a braid down.

With a sew in or a quick weave you can honestly build whatever you want but that is NOT the case with a K-Tip install.

My opinions are not industry laws but they are definitely my chair laws. 😉

I know this is a bit controversial but it’s so annoying seeing people assume that people are financially irresponsible because they’re paying for something they wouldn’t spend money on.

You’re allowed to think something is too expensive for you without assuming that other people shouldn’t buy it.
People work hard for their money and if they spent every dollar in their bank account it still wouldn’t affect you so why does it matter so much? Just make sure you’re responsible with your money and all will be well. 🥰
