RESTOCKED: Our Exotic Curly Bundles are back!

Here’s your reminder: just because your natural hair doesn’t match the texture you love doesn’t mean you can’t wear it.

My natural hair is straight and doesn’t match our Exotic Curly texture at all. So instead of letting that stop me from wearing the curls I wanted, I used flexi rods on my leave-out to mimic the curl pattern of the extensions.

And look at that blend. You can barely tell what’s mine and what’s not.

In most cases, if you love a texture, there are ways to manipulate your natural hair to mimic it and create a seamless blend. Flexi rods, perm rods, braids, twists and other styling techniques can completely change how your leave-out blends.

So don’t automatically count out a texture just because it doesn’t look like your natural curl pattern.

Wednesday Rewind: Some stories are worth telling twice.

There’s a reason I’m so particular about the hair we carry.

I’ve traveled all over the world to personally customize our textures, learn new techniques & build long lasting relationships with the temples & factories we work with. I know firsthand where our hair comes from because I’ve been there. I hand select textures, learn the sourcing process & stay connected to what’s new so we can continue bringing our customers the latest techniques & innovations in hair extensions.

For me, sourcing hair has never been as simple as picking from a vendor catalog & placing an order. I go & see it. I touch it. I compare the textures. I ask questions. I learn where it comes from & how it’s processed. And even after we find hair we love, it still has to pass our test.

Before introducing new extensions to our customers, we test them for at least 6 months. We wash them, style them, wear them & see how they perform over time. Hair can look amazing when it’s brand new, but what matters to me is how it performs after you actually live in it.

After more than 20 years in the hair industry, I’ve learned that beautiful extensions start long before they ever reach your doorstep.

From our wavy & curly textures to our clip ins, tape ins & bundles, everything we offer has been intentionally sourced, tested & selected with our customers in mind.

We source it. We test it. We wear it. Then we bring it to you.

Her hair WAS NOT & WILL NOT be used for hair extensions. I’m simply sharing this moment at the temple to highlight the beauty & traditions of different cultures.

This moment was especially meaningful to me because I’m Ethiopian & my head was also shaved as an infant for similar reasons. It’s beautiful to see how cultures from different parts of the world can share similar traditions.
