As we go on a small vacation, we need to have protective styles. Braids, twist, or something where you can shampoo your hair everytime you get in the water. Always condition and moisturize after shampooing.
Let's talk, what are your hair issues? I know a lot of us have gone natural, what would you like to know about that process? What about those of you that are still using relaxed hair? I am her for you.
TIP FOR THE DAY:
Use the things in your kitchen to condition your hair.
Avocados, eggs, mayonnaise, honey, coconut oil, olive oil, lemons, vinegar, etc. These items are apart of the ingredients in conditioners, why not just use them.

I am glad to be back to answer your questions about your hair and share other tips that I have learned about the skin, body and mind.
I will be sharing hair styles that I have done and some videos on how to style them. If you have any questions please post them. I will answer them as quickly as I can.

You can put different things in your water to give it flavor. Not Crystal Light or sugar. Try one of these by the slice; cucumber, strawberry, lemon, or watermelon. Sometimes you have to make yourself like it because it is good for you. Please try it it's good for you. Water prolongs your life.
Let's talk: Drinking Water: This is the BEST thing you can do. Hydrate your body. We need 64 ounces a day. That is 4 bottles a day. 1 with each meal and one before bed. ALKALINE water is better. It balances the bodies PH and helps to prevent disease. It's more expensive but it works. Stay young and keep your body healthy. What do you think?

Let's Chat: NATURAL HAIR; I have been experimenting with natural hair this week. I'm looking for more alternatives for kinky hair. I tried "Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding" on a client. I did a twist set and it was really pretty. What do you think about natural hair?
Try a weave for a different look. Change it up a little. To add color to your hair without damage, add a piece of colored hair.

Hair Tip for the Week: Home maintainence is needed to maintain healthy hair. Everyone should have hair products at home to assist your hair stylist in keeping your hair in good condition. An oil moisturizer, tea tree oil (for dry scalp), a satin bonet or pillow case, and some edge control. Use top of the line products on your hair. Cheap products leave cheap results.
I was having a conversation with a client about excercising. I think that walking for 30 minutes to an hour and a little stretching and crunches are enough excercise for each day. She feels that going to the gym is better. What do you think?
