➡️ That mindset came from watching her hardworking father

➡️ It created resilience—but also normalized pressure as a lifestyle

Now, as the steward of her brother Jean-Michel Basquiat’s legacy, she moves differently.

She’s not just protecting art—
She’s protecting meaning.

✨ Creating licensing opportunities so his work stays

✨ Ensuring ownership isn’t lost in the name of access
