And, in other news, this is a Precor treadmill. It is in search of a new home. It's gym quality and has been very well cared for. I'd like to get it out of the house so a sofa can live there. Any takers?

It's been a while since I've updated this. But that's because I've been busy! Getting close to completion and I'm really liking the look.

Ridiculously busy week.

The guys at Saba (Armando, Dale, Ivan …) were kind enough to donate a bag of corks to the insane wine cork backsplash wall project… thank you so much. If you haven't been to Saba you should go. Good food, great company.
I know, comparing to the last picture, it isn't much better, but check out the arm rest on the chair. See? It's happening, slowly, but surely. Victory will be mine.

Well. That's it. I've used all the wine corks I had saved. Three garbage bags of corks and 83 glue sticks later... Grossly underestimated how many it will take to cover the wall by my shampoo chair and sink. Looks good so far, but I'll be badgering people for donations in 2014, I'm afraid.

Well, turns out 20 years of corks isn't enough to cover a wall that big. Tips will henceforth be accepted in the form of wine corks. :-)
