While waiting to shoot our makeover tv segment for “Ride Of Your Life” with Courtney Hansen, I gave out haircuts to the crew. Courtney’s dog, Violet, joined me on the job:)

My youngest curly hair client came in today for a big change. Thankfully, Mom trusts me to do better the stylist to do it.

My client has been growing her hair out for a couple of years but recently experienced hair thinning from medications. My client naturally has curly hair but the medication has changed her curl pattern so my client currently wears her hair more smooth. My client came in for a haircut to bring up her length and layering to get rid of any thinning lengths. The shorter cut matches the shorter hairs from thinning, adds more volume and movement. My client’s hair looks fuller and healthy.

My curly hair client came in for a haircut. My client has been growing her hair out but feels like her curls are too heavy and she is missing having natural volume. I trimmed my client’s length but gave her a lot of layers since her hair was mostly one length with face-framing layers. Now my client can still grow out her hair while having more volume and movement.

My young client has decided to try a longer hair style for the first time. So far, he enjoys wearing his hair back off his face with volume on top, the sides flush to his head and some length in the back. Very classic for men’s mid-length hairstyles. My client is very happy with his current hair style but wants to continue with his hair growth journey.

My client flys in from TX just to get his haircut and beard trim with me every 4- 6 weeks. My client naturally has curly hair and likes to wear a traditional fade haircut. I don’t use clippers, just scissors and combs. My client’s traditional fade haircut is wash and go, easy to manage and style. I lined my client’s edges using his natural hairline. I lined and trimmed my client’s mustache and beard.

My client came in for a full highlight and haircut appointment. My client likes her hair long but wanted a healthy trim along with face-framing layers. My client enjoys being blonde and has been wanting to continue her journey from icy blonde to going more natural for the new year. I used ammonia free lightener and high-lift color along with ammonia free color for her midtone and lowlight on her full highlight service and olaplex in her formula. I created a brighter blend of blonde tones along with more natural added depth with the midtone and lowlight. I cut a few inches off my clients length to get rid of her dry ends and finished her cut with trimmmibg her face-framing layers. I finished my client’s service with a conditioning treatment. My client’s hair not only looks healthier but now my client’s hair looks more natural from root to tip.

My client came in for a half highlight and haircut appointment. My client likes her hair long but wanted a healthy trim along with face-framing layers. My client enjoys being blonde and has been wanting to transition going lighter for the new year. I used ammonia free lightener and high-lift color on her partial highlight, and olaplex in her formula, to create a brighter blend of blonde tones as pictured. I cut a few inches off my clients length to get rid of her dry ends and finished her cut with trimmmibg her face-framing layers.
