The Cats Behind Stray Cat Strut

Stray Cat Strut is a partnership composed of three female Atlanta-based designers and makers—Alicia Kot, Emmie Thompson, and Drew Atkinson.

We came from all across the US and somehow (THANK YOU UNIVERSE) made it into each other’s lives.

Emmie and Alicia are costume and clothing makers and designers and Drew specializes in makeup application and special effects prosthetic fabrication. Together they can create the perfect look for your needs, no matter how big (we’re thinking Hagrid… or maybe a giant Cyclops??) or small (what about a 1920s flapper party look?).

Not only do we offer custom-designed looks for consumers, we are also a space for artist to connect, learn, and grow from each other. Through workshops and classes held in our studio, we welcome all creators and inspirers from all walks of life and all levels of their craft to come and join our family of “strays.” (Think about it like you are the cat who showed up on the crazy cat lady’s doorstep and are carried into this house filled with other, different, unique, and inspiring cats and you’re just like “How did I get so lucky?! I just showed up because I heard there was free food!”)
