Lately I’ve been feeling the need to post my work how it’s lived in. How it evolves. Initial before and afters are great but that’s not what you live with. You live with the healed result. The 5-6 months later…. The two years later. How does having your brows or lips done change how you feel in the day to day? Permanent makeup is a commitment, you don’t get to just wipe it off if it doesn’t suit you. I’m aware of the shift in the perception of permanent makeup. So many of us got it done when it was still developing. When it was a buzz word. Artists were still getting a handle on their technique and even products were in developmental stages. Every service evolves and permanent makeup is no exception. I know for me when I was a newer artist. My goal was to get the most retention, the boldest look, etc. etc. As I’ve grown as an artist, it’s actually quite the opposite… Now I want to see your brows fade out over time and remain beautiful in the process.

Lauryn’s brows were gorgeous already, full and fluffy, but in need of a little structure. We chose a combo brow to give her a low maintenance every day look and they came out perfect for her. These are her healed results after two sessions and several months. Scroll to the end to see her brows before, how we mapped them, and how they looked when they were initially done. 2025 wasn’t a break out year for me. Nothing outstanding happened. I mostly grinded it out like everyone else I know. There were small wins and losses like every year. I think collectively we’ve all felt a shift…. Like something is coming but it’s not quite here yet. I’ve personally felt a deeper need to disconnect from socials and lean in to family. It’s a work in progress I suppose. I’m entering 2026 feeling hopeful, feeling a need to evolve…. nothing I can pinpoint exactly but I’ll keep you posted. Cheers to another trip around the ☀️! Love y’all ;)
