At the beginning of February, our Archer went missing — and our world stopped.
We searched tirelessly, followed every lead, shared his story everywhere we could, and prayed constantly. When there was nothing left to do, we waited. And we kept holding onto hope through the many reunion stories that reminded us miracles still happen.
On February 28th, we received the call that changed everything. What we almost ignored as a spam call turned out to be a veterinarian letting us know that someone had found Archer and brought him in to be scanned.
Douglas went immediately.
After weeks away, Archer was finally back where he belongs.
He was muddy and worn from his adventure, but safe. We brought him home, gave him a deep clean, bathed him, and nurtured him back to health. Now he’s shining, healthy, and happier than ever to be reunited with his Balance family.
We will never fully have the words to express our gratitude. To everyone who prayed, checked in, shared his story, and believed with us — thank you. We placed our trust in God and prayed someone would do the right thing, and those prayers were answered. This past month reminded us just how powerful faith, community, and love truly are.
