My boyfriend had been acting real secretive all week. He told me to be dressed and ready by 7 because he had a whole day planned massage appointment, nails, toes even a cute little scavenger hunt with clues. I was so excited.Well, before 7, my homegirls pulled up and asked me to ride with them somewhere. I didn't think nothing of it.Tell me why they drove me to a park, walked me over to a gazebo... and this man got down on one knee.Y'all... the gazebo wasn't decorated, no flowers, no candles, no music.it honestly looked like somebody came up with the idea 10 minutes before I got there. 😭So... I said “NO” in front of everybody and ran back to the car. Now he's telling everybody I'm ungrateful, selfish, and that I embarrassed him. But in my mind. this is supposed to be my FIRST and ONLY proposal, and I always imagined it being thoughtful and something I'd remember forever.
