I did a thing today… 🤍

I chose me.

Not because it was easy.
Not because I didn’t feel guilty.
And definitely not because I don’t need the money.

The truth is, every time I take a day off, there’s a part of me that’s scared. Scared of falling behind. Scared of not making enough. Scared of ending up back in a place I fought so hard to leave.

But my hands have been reminding me of something my mind keeps trying to ignore…

If I don’t take care of me, eventually I won’t be able to take care of my clients either.

So today, I got the facial.
I walked around my favorite neighborhood.
I laughed in improv.
I gave myself permission to exist outside of my business.

Was I guilty? Absolutely.

But I’m learning that healing isn’t waiting until the guilt disappears.
Sometimes healing is choosing yourself while the guilt is still sitting in the passenger seat.

Today, I chose me. 🤍
