My client’s skin had a little redness and a few breakouts, but because she doesn’t normally wear makeup, the goal was never to cake her up. Instead, I focused on creating what I call a “Fake Natural” makeup look, where it looks like she’s barely wearing anything, feels lightweight, and still looks beautifully polished in photos.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that using less makeup automatically creates a natural look. In reality, it’s all about proper skin prep and strategically layering products to create a seamless, skin-like finish that lasts all day.
