It dawned on me the other day that so many of the people that sit in my chair is based on the connections and relationships I made in college. I am so grateful and so honored to serve and have the support of The University of Tennessee alumni in Atlanta and beyond! It would take all day to tag and shout out everyone but know that I love you and I don't take it for granted. EVER!
BTW... I don't typically color locs but because my fellow alumni asked me, I obliged! That's how much y'all mean to me 🧡

Blonding is an exercise of restraint! Let me explain...
It is a daily lesson (that I am still learning) to restrain how light to take a client. This was her first visit with us and although she was previously platinum, being that light no longer served her. She had visual breakage in the crown and even though I would have loved to make her as light and bright as possible it was more important to give her a level of blonde that she could maintain and keep healthy in between visits!

A few weeks ago I stood at the shampoo bowl holding back tears as I realized I was standing in my answered prayers! It was one of those days where the whole salon was buzzing, the conversation was lit, the laughter was unbridled, and every chair was filled with stunning hair! Kamorry Wilson (slide 4) we got a braider, we got a braider 🤗 I literally have been praying for a braider and God sent Kamorry! She is so talented and hungry to succeed. Her braids are flawless with low tension and hair health at the forefront. And the girl is a whizz at quick weaves.
