PRO TIP: One of the best ways to make any eye lid appear bigger or “create” more room for shadow in the lid is to blend shadows up into the negative space of the eye.

What’s that? The negative space is the area of the eye that is often times unnoticed but makes such a HUGE difference when blending your eyeshadows! It’s the concave area between the bridge of your nose & where the eye crease begins above the inner corner of the eye. In this photo, you can see where I doubled up on the shadow in Karrington’s negative space to make them appear “deeper” and larger. I use this technique on all of my clients and I’ve loved the way my shadows look ever since! I LOVE a good eyeshadow technique, what are some of y’all’s favorite tips & tricks to make the eyes pop?
