A natural glow of glam takes intentional placement to keep the skin looking like skin while still making you feel fabulous! I personally feel like it takes so much longer than just doing a full glam, but that’s one of the reasons why I love it so much because of how intentional I get to be with every stroke!

Brides, your makeup starts BEFORE the makeup chair. 🤍

One of the biggest things I recommend to my brides is starting your skin prep early, not the week of your wedding!

Facials can help you better understand what your skin needs, improve the way your skin looks and feels, and create a smoother, more beautiful canvas for your makeup. ✨

For my own wedding prep, I’m working on getting my skin as smooth, bright, and healthy-looking as possible so we can achieve the makeup look I envision for my wedding day.

And a reminder: don’t try new treatments right before your wedding! Give your skin time to adjust and work with a professional to create a plan that’s right for you.

Trial → Wedding Day 🤍

Sometimes your trial look isn’t the final look, and that’s exactly why trials are so important.

For this bride, she had an idea of what she wanted, but we were working with limited time during her trip for the trial. We created a starting point based on her inspiration, and then had the opportunity to really refine it on the wedding day.

✨ At the trial: a half-messy, half-textured bun
✨ On the wedding day: texture carried throughout the entire bun
✨ Smaller, softer curls added for face framing
✨ A few little tweaks that completely changed the overall feel of the look

And this is one of my favorite things about the trial process: you don’t have to know exactly what you want.

Sometimes we don’t know what we want until we see it on ourselves and that’s completely OKAY!

Y’all already know momma bear glams are my FAVORITE! Allowing them to relax and gain a new perspective on makeup. They all have had trauma, and we want to make sure we can change that for them! Allowing them to feel glamorous and confident while they still look like themselves!

Just listening to them, focusing on what is needed for their skin instead of just applying makeup. And most of the time, less is more! We want to focus on the skin more than just applying the makeup!
