I knew that I was a hairstylist when I was about 9 years old. My Mother bought me a baby doll that had a head full of curls. I decided that I was going to wash the doll's hair...wrong move. I thought to myself, ewww... I'm going to get it. Instead, she gave me some rollers and setting lotion, and told me, "YOU BETTER GET EVERY ONE OF THOSE CURLS BACK IN THAT DOLLS HAIR!!!" And so I did.
