When opening my own spot, I knew I wanted to create a space that was ultra relaxing and made my clients feel really comfy while getting their hair done. I knew I wanted the space filled with plants to help bring positive energy to the space. For beverages, I ultimately decided to serve hot tea & seltzer water to allow yourself to take a break from caffeine and alcohol. Fox & Mane was created to be your chance to not only get amazing hair services, but for you to balance and recharge.

My client tried Madison Reed hair color at home and ended up with dark blorange roots. I added highs & lows to blend out this smoky blonde bombshell! And WHAT A DIFFERENCE 😍

I get asked a lot about the product I carry and use on my clients! The brand is and they are new to the states. I was drawn to the brand because of their love for animals & the environment. I also loved their pastel colors and scents that last for days. And of course the products work as described and leave your hair feeling so soft and lush!
Also, I get asked a lot about how I obtain the product and sell it. Although a lot of my clients think that I have some sort of deal with the brand, but that’s not the case. I purchase all the product upfront at wholesale cost and sell at the recommended retail price. So trust me, I believe in this brand completely for me to purchase their line and have it readily available for you to buy conveniently from me!

It’s been four months since opening my own space and I still feel like I’m dreaming! I’ve put off opening up my own suite for so long, worried and terrified about being able to keep up and be successful... However, the risks I took opening up my own business are already paying off!
I have a beautiful pod of my own that inspires me the moment I walk in the door. I have my existing clients support, cheering me on and sending me their friends & family. I also have gotten so many new clients, which I thought was going to be impossible being in a salon suite. The taxes, licenses, and insurance seemed gut wrenching but I wouldn’t change the amount of knowledge I have obtained and continue to obtain.
My point is, ✨ DO NOT LET ANYTHING STOP YOU FROM YOUR DREAMS ✨ I’ve been doing hair for almost 9 years now and I can finally see that I can have my own full salon one day. I can see that all those brick walls I thought I couldn’t get around, I jumped right through like the kool-aid man. See you on the other side- OH, YEAHH!
