Because it’s more than just filling in acrylic in the grown-out area. Here’s the tea 🍵 : When nails have grown out for a few weeks, the structure shifts. The apex (that high point of strength) isn’t where it’s suppose to be, which makes the nail SUPER prone to breaking. A rebalance is about restoring the correct structure—moving that apex back to where it belongs and evening out the entire nail so it’s balanced and strong again. Which requires more work and time.
