☀️ use a color protecting leave-in to protect your color from the sun’s harmful rays. (like Kevin Murphy Everlasting Colour Leave-In)
🌤 choose a mineral sun screen for your skin (my favorite is Supergoop)
⛅️ choose to cover your hair when expecting prolonged sun exposure
🌥 In the summer, the sun and the pool often go hand in hand, but chemicals like chlorine can weaken your hair, making it even more prone to sun damage. Wet hair and apply ample oil or leave-in. I like to put my hair in loose braids to avoid too much ponytail tension.
☁️ Shampooing more frequently? Switch to a cleansing conditioner to avoid stripping the hair of nourishing oils. Re.Store by Kevin Murphy smells like heaven!!!

How long can I go between balayage sessions?? The answer is….. a really long time. During these colder months it’s super easy to tone town those lighter pieces for a warmer, richer winter look. Bonus…. You won’t need fresh highlights till spring. 👍🏻
