Dear Friends and Loyal Customers;

This is a post we did not want to write.

It is with profound sadness, but with assurance in the resurrection through Jesus Christ, we announce the passing of our most beloved Bob due to complications from pneumonia.

Having owned Bob’s Barbershop for over sixty years, Bob Thompson had a tremendous presence here at the beach. While serving untold numbers of locals and visitors alike, he counts among his many friends mayors, shrimpers, police, firefighters, and military service members ranking from airmen to admirals, and so many others.

Details of celebration of life are to be announced.

We are heartbroken.

We wish our Friends and Loyal Customers; Happy Christmas to All, and to All, a Good Night!
