LIIP is not a points calculator, certification checklist or system designed to force a project toward a predetermined framework outcome.

LIIP works differently.

The platform first evaluates the project’s physical opportunities, owner priorities, budget, structural capacity, maintenance requirements and performance objectives. It then independently develops an optimized portfolio of living-infrastructure recommendations—including green roofs, living walls, tree canopy, native landscapes, bioswales, permeable pavement and rainwater-management systems.

Only after that engineering analysis is complete does LIIP identify where the recommended measures may support the selected sustainability framework.

The result is a clearer connection between measurable living-infrastructure performance and the standards increasingly influencing design, construction, investment and asset management worldwide.
