Laundry never ends and I was without a washer for two days now I have 6 loads to wash….. 🥲

A long-awaited salon update ✨

Life has definitely been life-ing lately, but we are making progress! Plumbing is officially installed, I picked up the AC unit today, and next up is electrical and finish work. We are getting closer every day!

I want to thank each and every one of you for being so patient during this journey. Your support, encouragement, and loyalty mean more than you’ll ever know. 🤍

Highly recommend taking your babies to the sea lab on Dauphin Island, i remember taking school trips here when I was younger! A lot of hands on activities for your littles! My babies had so much fun 💙

My bubba is getting some dental work this morning he’s the biggest boy and I’m so proud of him 💕

Friendships have been a struggle for me the last couple of years… IYKYK. Lord have mercy. ❤️

Over the last 9 months, though, I have gained some of the most genuine friendships. The kind of friends who reach their hand out even farther than you do. The kind who constantly lift you up, but aren’t afraid to lovingly correct you when you’re wrong. The kind where every time you’re together it’s nothing but laughs no gossip, no drama.

I met Maddy 4 months ago at a gender reveal in Auburn 🤣, and I swear it feels like I’ve known her for years. Funny enough, Maddy told me this weekend that when I walked through the door at that gender reveal, she looked at me and said, “I wanna be friends with her.” 😭 Then she noticed I was carrying my oversized purse to the function too, and at that point it was over soul sisters. 👯‍♀️🤣

She was so excited to come meet my family and my children, and this weekend I had the absolute best time. Therapy needed because all I did was laugh!

This season has taught me a valuable lesson: be careful who you surround yourself with and who you allow into your life both personally and professionally. Your peace and mental health are worth protecting because the wrong people can cost you a lot.

Long story short, my sweet angel Maddy left this morning, and I walked into my kitchen with tears just flowing. But I can thank God for change and for bringing these people into my life exactly when I needed them most.

Devin Mitchell, you already know the love I have for you, girl. You never left when things got scary. ❤️
