Sunday, November 15, I’ll be teaching CONTROL. REFINE. FINISH. — Hands-On Enhancement Application & Finishing during the Oklahoma Nail Masters Christmas Party & Workshop weekend!

This 3-hour hands-on class is about taking more control of your application—from how the product moves under your brush to recognizing what needs correction and intentionally refining that final finish.

We’ll be working with the Diamond Essence Cool Gel System, and yes… we’re bringing out the chrome. Because sometimes your eye says the nail is finished, and then the light tells on you. 😉✨

What a wonderful weekend at the Queen Ladybug Luxury Coastal Retreat! 🐞🩷

It was an absolute honor to teach Structure: Redefined and share some of the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my 30 years behind the nail table—even if it took half of a red Solo cup to help me do it! 🤣

A heartfelt thank-you to Erin for inviting me to teach, and to Ms. Tracy for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. The encouragement, thoughtful questions and positive feedback from everyone in my classroom truly made my heart happy.

I’m so grateful for this experience—and it reminded me just how much I love teaching. 💅✨

Before the medal, there was this. 😂

A makeshift practice station spread across a bed in Oklahoma City—because competition prep ain’t always glamorous, and apparently sometimes your nail table is a mattress. 🤣

It had been at least 15 years since I’d played with pink-and-white acrylic, so before walking into my first nail competition, I had some serious getting reacquainted to do.

Thirty years in, and still practicing—because experience doesn’t mean you can’t improve. 🩷

Quick Tidbit: Before you reach for the cuticle oil, give Ladybug Luster her moment to shine. ⏱️✨

30 years behind the nail table… and there are apparently still firsts left. 🩷🏆

Earlier this month, I entered my very first nail competition at the USA International Nail Cup in Tulsa—and came home with First Place in Salon Style French! 🥇

I’m incredibly proud of this one. After 30 years in this industry, I still believe there’s always more to learn, more ways to grow, and new ways to challenge yourself.
