My Testimony
When I was a teenager, I attended a youth group in South Attleboro. One night, a missionary was there as a guest preacher. In the middle of the sermon and in front of everyone else, that man looked at me and spoke over my life that I would “go and preach to nations.” At the time I didn’t know what to think. I was young and wanted to do what teenagers do. I was baptized at a young age as a next step but I know I didn’t do it as a commitment to Jesus.
14 years later I was blessed with my beautiful wife, my daughter and a successful business. But during that time I had lost my way with the Lord. I was living life my own way and was not surrendered to Him. I began coming back to church. During the service I began to be overwhelmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit, crying to the point that my daughter had to ask my wife why I was crying so much.
I realized in that moment that even though I had walked away from the Lord, He had continued to be with me and calling me even though I had denied Him. I know that everything He has blessed me with was from Him and He used it all to mature me.
Jeremiah 24:7 says “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God because they will return to me with all their heart.”
I know this is what Jesus has done in me. I confess Jesus Christ is the son of God, who died on the cross, was buried and was raised to life three days later. I too have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me. The life I now live, I live in faith in the one who loved me and gave his life for me. To Him be glory forevermore. Amen.

Yesterday I was baptized. God’s power drew me back to the church after 14 years, and I stepped into a life completely committed to Him. I’m humbled by His mercy and by His love for me. Since coming back, God has been working in my heart to change my life dramatically. I look forward to growing in faith, serving others, and sharing His love, day by day through Christ who strengthens me.
To my family and friends,
your steadfast support has been the compass guiding me toward this moment. Your words, your prayers, and your example showed me what it means to live with faith, courage, and kindness. I’ve learned that baptism is not merely a ceremony but a commitment to seek God daily, to love others unconditionally, and to use the gifts I’ve been given to do God’s work in the world. I’m grateful for every late-night conversation, every hug, every act of encouragement that helped me move from doubt to conviction. As I step into this new life, I’m dedicated to growing in Christ, serving others, and sharing His love in tangible ways. Thank you for walking this path with me and for helping me become who I was meant to be. The journey ahead is bright, and I’m excited to continue this life of faith with you by my side.

Dear God,
Bless me as I work. Guide me to help make the people of your world more stylish and to keep them looking their best so they may succeed. Bless everyone who enters so they may feel the joy and warmth of a friend. Grant me wisdom to make good choices so that my clients get excellent service. And let me always remember the privilege I have to help people feel their best. Amen
