✨ Braid Check Episode 6, Clean Parts, Clean Finish

My client came in for a fresh set of straight back cornrows, and you already know we had to get him right 🔥

Before we even started, I did a full hair and scalp analysis to see exactly what products and prep his hair needed based on his curl pattern and texture. From there, we went to the shampoo bowl for a moisturizing shampoo and conditioning treatment to soften and hydrate the hair.

After blow drying the hair out, I lightly silked the hair to stretch the coils and create a smoother foundation for cleaner braids and neater parts.

Then it was braid time 👏🏽 Clean parts, smooth grip, finished with mousse and holding spray for that polished look.

Simple, clean, and crisp every time.

✨ Sew-In Edition Episode 20, Maintenance Matters

A good install is one thing… but good maintenance? That’s what keeps it looking flawless 👏🏽

My client came in for her closure sew-in maintenance before an event, so we focused on refreshing the install and bringing those curls back to life.

First, I inspected the hair and closure to see exactly what needed attention. From there, we shampooed, conditioned, and carefully detangled the hair before setting her under the dryer to make sure everything underneath was fully dry and refreshed.

After that, I went through and tightened any tracks that needed maintenance, then relaid her closure for that seamless melt. Once everything was secure, we sectioned the hair, curled it, pinned the curls, and got her event ready ✨

✨ Quick Weave Edition Episode 9, Bob Energy Activated

My client came in thinking she wanted long hair… but baby, once we got into this bob, it was a wrap 🔥

As always, we started with a scalp analysis to assess the health of her scalp and hair first. Then we moved over to the shampoo bowl for a moisturizing shampoo and conditioning treatment before prepping her hair for the install.

After blow drying and braiding her hair down, I applied the protective cap, molded it using Morning Glory, and set everything under the dryer for a secure foundation. Once dry, I customized her leave out and began laying each track to build this quick weave.

And whew… this bob came out CLEAN. Soft, natural, lightweight, and really giving “is that her hair?” energy 👏🏽

This one is for my corporate women who love to keep it classy, but still want a little something extra 👀

This wig came in a little basic, so we gave it a subtle upgrade. We added peekaboo color using a soft orange tone on a honey brown base, then shaped it into a clean medium bob to keep it work appropriate.

Now here’s the magic… it’s conservative when it needs to be, but once the hair moves or you run your fingers through it, that pop of color shows up just right 🔥

Today was one of those appointments that just felt good from start to finish.

We started with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, followed by a hydration steam treatment to really nourish her hair. After that, we did her braid down and brought everything together with her custom colored, layered, and styled wig from Episode 39. And when I tell you… she looked absolutely beautiful.

But beyond the hair, it was the energy. The laughs, the conversation, the good vibes… moments like this are why I love what I do.
