i am currently retired from Barbering and due to lack of resources and tech knowledge will not be building my dream for a national chain of Barbershops. Recently some unprincipled person is trying to steal my Barber-Cuts Trade mark. I highly doubt it they will ever bring to fruition my dreams for the male haircutting profession in America.

An article sent to the leaders of Andis Clipper company a few years ago after a conference call with their head of marketing and the head of education that has been ignored because of my lack of notoriety and possibly my political and religious beliefs.

A Vision for creating a hair cutting language

To create a codified language of hair cutting that will be universally accepted and utilized industry wide.
Develop this language by combining historic, modern, and new terms by clearly defining their meaning and use these terms and techniques in the teaching curriculum. To accomplish this, a library of books and videos should be created to quantify and organize all knowledge on the subject that has been published or posted up to this date. The goal is not to “reinvent the wheel” but rather to refine it, enhance it, and make a better wheel.
Write a textbook that combines all the terms and techniques in a systematic format and sell the book to barber and beauty schools Everywhere so that the next generation of stylists will all speak the same language.
Over time, the public will learn the terminology so they can better communicate with their barber or stylist on what they want.
Teach the stylists to interview and assess a client's desired service by learning to “read them” and give them a style that suits their tastes, occupation, and help them to maintain their look.
Work with domestic and international organizations to create a universally accepted curriculum program that will be accepted by all states and countries for licensure in Barbering and Cosmetology professions. It would be ideal to create a “national standard” on haircutting education that would allow stylists/barbers to easily get reciprocal licenses in any state or country they wish to work in.
I propose a radical change to the way hair cutting is taught. A good analogy is how to learn to read. Phonics is the best way because it teaches the reader to learn how to break down the word into different sounds based upon the construction of the word. In this plan, hair cutting methods are broken down into their basic elements and taught to people who will combine these “elements” into their design and then execute the design.

The Plan
To meet with the creators of books, videos , and other materials currently used in the education program.
Asses what is to be utilized in the new plan and assemble
all the materials to be used in its creation.
Recruit a team and assign them specific jobs to write, edit, market, and teach the new program.
Acquire as much opinions and counsel from all experts willing to aid in the program's creation. The more people who have a hand in the creation of the system the more widespread its acceptance will be.
To update all videos currently out on YouTube and other media platforms.
Recruit people who were originally involved in the videos currently online.
Set up an inhouse lab to create new videos utilizing employees in the factory. Give paid time off for workers who wish to be haircut models.
Advice for implementing the vision.
Do not choose a “superstar” hair cutter to create the language.
Why? If they have sought to be recognized and praised for their skills then they will continue in that vein and not serve the vision properly. Their goal is to promote self rather than the haircutting language goals.
Bottom line: One has to market products to succeed. The best way to increase revenue is to increase the # of products being sold. I propose that a company should market all products used by barbers and beauticians to cut hair with. This would create a one stop shopping source .
If a company is unable to work with someone who does not share the political, religious or “world view then I cannot help you. I am in the later stages of my career as a barber and am willing to share ideas and inventions I have what I believe could be revolutionary to the industry. A comb that can apply tension to the hair so as to facilitate precision clipper cutting.

A skiller’s vest or belt pack with battery power ports to recharge a clipper or trimmer. Total mobility, speed, and convenience.

A remanufacture of a hair cloth clip that is as good as the one I have been using for 20 yrs. Noone is currently manufacturing it.

A cape ( hair cloth) that has a flexible neck that adjusts to the customers exact neck size and helps prevent hair from going down their neck.

A Barber jacket that employs a diamond gusset in the armpits to facilitate ease of movement and a material that sheds hair.

Clipper blades with inch and metric sizes that are labeled with large lettering for easy identification.

Easily customizable clipper covers and accessories to personalize a stylists tools.

These ideas are not currently patented or in production. I offer them to Andis as a gift to help Andis to continue being a Family owned company that leads the world in clipper manufacture as an example of a compassionate company that lives by its values. I believe these ideas could greatly increase the size and influence of the Andis brand.
I am not in a position to design, manufacture, or market these ideas as they would be copied and stolen by some corporation rendering the patents useless. I have studied the history of patents in the U.S. and it is not good.

In the following post I will share an important message about King David who slew the Philistine giant named Goliath and why God called him a man after His heart.
Joshua, who led Israel into the 'promised land’, was told by God to “meditate on His word “day and night” so that he would be able to live according to what is written in it and make his way prosperous.” I believe that preachers who preach the “prosperity gospel” would not use this verse because if people followed this advice it would reveal the false doctrine they preach. David was said to be a man after God's heart and was a prophet who spoke about the coming messiah ( Jesus). One of my favorite old hymns sings Psalm 40:2 saying “He brought me up out of the miry clay”. We also used to sing a chorus that had part of psalm 51 in it. It is the prayer David prayed to God that restored his relationship with Him after he sinned with Bathsheba.. David knew God as a merciful God and often appealed to Him for that mercy. My mother was a compassionate and merciful woman. I once prevented getting a good butt whooping by appealing to my mom’s merciful nature by hitting the floor and shedding some crocodile tears expressing contrition for my disobedience at “bed time” . I had already exhausted my parental warnings as my mom appeared at the doorway with uncharacteristic “fire in her eyes.”
David also was a valiant warrior and knew how to defeat the enemy. He once wrote “Blessed be the Lord which teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight”. Jesus gave us an example to follow by using the word of God when tempted in Mathew chapter 4. David wrote “thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against You.” (Ps. 119:11) Memory verses are like arrows in your quiver. Paul taught that we have mighty weapons at our disposal to get victory over Satan and his minions.(2 Cor. 10:4) The prophet Isaiah rebuked the messenger sent to King Hezekiah from the King of Assyria and sent His angel who slew 185,000 soldiers in one night who were encamped against Israel.(2 Kings 19:35)

When I was a young believer I was a man after God's heart and sought to be a “Man of the Word” like David was.

What the Christian Church should look like

A true apostolic Christian church should have these elements in them.

Leadership that is called by God to lead and gifted to get it done.
Character qualities exhibiting humility, fear of God, compassion on the “ignorant and those who are lost, a fervent desire to study, meditate, read, and memorize the word of God and not fail to teach the ”whole counsel of God'' ie. to “ reprove, rebuke, and exhort with longsuffering and doctrine the people without excluding Biblical truths that are uncomfortable or not “politically correct” . Leadership should have a hatred of “every false way and the diligence to purge the church of their pagan influences. “Come out from among them saith the Lord and touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you.” Leaders should not exhibit a “love for the world or the things in it.” They should be men of prayer who get their inspiration from the “word of God and prayer” without the influence of the “doctrines of men and devils.” They should not be reading the books of “rock star preachers of mega churches to get messages to preach. Leaders should not “desire to have the preeminence” among the church, desire the “praise of men '' or covet positions of power, authority, or influence. Tatoos, tanning, flashy clothing, hair styles, and a desire to be rich and drive expensive cars should not be important to them. Preachers should live a life characterized by self denial, sacrifice, and a willingness to “suffer for His namesake.” They should be “given to the word of God and prayer”as the Apostles were.
Worship is to be with Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. The goal of worship is to exalt the Lord, not entertain people or induce in them an altered state of consciousness so they can receive an “experience” from the Lord or “spirit realm’.
Worship is not to be led by worldly professionals who love the praises of others or youth who are not mature in their faith. The music should serve to aid Christians to “make a melody in their heart to the Lord” , give thanks to the Lord, and to teach doctrinal truths. No chanting or mindless repetitive speaking of phrases over and over again.
An emphasis on the fellowship of the body of Christ by consistent meals together in a social setting. These gatherings should be from house to house as well as in a larger venue. See Acts 2:42
Jesus said “My house should be called a house of prayer” Church should not be selling stuff to make a profit off of the people. Church should be all about praying.
The youth should be “strong” because the word of God has been hidden in their hearts and they should be led and taught by mature men who exhibit the character qualities of an Elder not fashion conscious and hip youth .
Leaders who have judicial authority over the congregation that will “judge” prophecies, teach doctrine, and handle church discipline, must meet the qualifications outlined in the Bible and shown in many chosen leaders of the Bible for this position.
Families should be encouraged to model the Biblical example and adopt the values that are expressed in scripture for families. Men are to lead, women are to follow, help, and support their men. Children are to obey their parents and be raised up in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord”
God wishes that His holy institution should produce children.
The Planning of family size is up to the Lord not to be controlled for

our personal wishes. Jesus should be Lord over our reproductive lives.
The belief that the world is overpopulated and we should use science to restrain our reproductive potential ,is not of God. Children are a
Blessing, not a curse and should be celebrated as such. Children should learn adult “godly” behavior by growing up around adults who exhibit
Christian maturity and not be separated during preaching, worship.or otherGatherings. To say the Earth is not able to sustain the human population is to say God was not wise enough to create it big enough is an insult to God.
Homeschooling Children is the Biblical ideal.(Deut. 6) Atheistic, and, pagan beliefs are a sin and in direct violation of the desire of God wanting to have a “godly seed”( Malachi 2:15). It is the epitome of foolishness to expect our kids to serve and love God when we give them to the devil to train them.
To not pray for and vote to determine who will make the laws that govern us is a sin. We “ought to obey God rather than men.” The freedom we enjoy in the United States will be lost if we do not participate in the political process and fight for the Judeo-Christian values and world view this country was founded upon. These values have been eroding from our laws for years and have resulted in the immoral culture we are living in today .

David prayed “ search me o God, and know my heart : try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting”
(Psalms 139:23+24)
To do this we must be honest with ourselves and God and be willing to take the consequences of choosing to walk in truth. I have been a diligent searcher for God’s truth for 44 years and have chosen the path of truth over compliance and unity with those who choose peace and harmony over truth. Churches, preachers and religious organizations exact compliance in many things and banish or ostracize those who will not blindly follow them or agree with whatever they say is true. God’s word is the plumbline to gauge whatever is spoken, written, or believed whether it is in agreement with Him.
God spoke to Joshua exhorting him to meditate on His word day and night so that he would be able to live according to it. The word of God (Bible) is like pure water used to flush out our wrong beliefs and ideas if we allow it to do its job. I have a theory about memory. Whenever we hear or read a teaching we file it away in our memory under the category labeled truth or falsehood. Whenever we learn that some belief or doctrine we have believed to be true is now false we must retrieve the information from our memory and refile it under the title falsehood. This process is a never ending one for the believer. Jesus told a parable about a farmer who had a problem with an enemy who planted weeds among his crops. The enemy of our soul has many ways to plant his lies or misinformation into our minds so diligence is required to keep ourselves walking on the path of truth.
