Watching these two grow over the past few years has been one of the greatest gifts of building Vera Luna. ✨

When Yasmin and Marisa first started with me, so much of their time was spent assisting, learning, supporting, observing, and stepping in wherever needed. Countless extra hours, endless education classes, late nights, busy Saturdays, weddings, prom seasons, team support, and always showing up with heart.

But somewhere along the way… they stopped being “just assistants.”

They became artists.

Over the past few years they have completed well over 100 hours of additional education, and in the past few months alone have continued expanding their knowledge in extensions, advanced color, scalp wellness, bridal, and higher-level certifications. Watching their confidence, professionalism, and talent evolve has made me unbelievably proud.

Because of that growth, both Yasmin and Marisa will officially be extending their salon hours and stepping more fully into doing hair behind the chair — which also means you’ll be seeing them assist me a little less moving forward.

And honestly? That’s the goal.

Not only have they helped me grow Vera Luna, they’ve grown into strong, talented stylists who are ready for more of their own space, their own guests, and their own careers.

I could not be more proud of the women they are becoming and I cannot wait to watch what’s next for them. 🤍

One of the most meaningful things we’ve introduced this year has been La Dolce Luna — our monthly blow-dry ritual.

For so many of our guests — especially those with thick, time-consuming, or hard-to-manage hair — this has completely changed their routine.

Less stress.
More ease.
Consistent, polished hair without the overwhelm.

And honestly… this is just the beginning.🪄

We’ve been working quietly on what’s next for Vera Luna — including the continued expansion of Luna D’oro ✨

The growth within our team lately has been something I don’t take lightly.

Sam & Jenn have been doing truly exceptional work with extensions — not just in results, but in consultation, customization, and care for every guest who sits in their chair.

And it doesn’t stop there…

We currently have three more team members in training to become certified extension specialists — something we’ve been building very intentionally behind the scenes.
