Hello everyone! It has been awhile since I posted anything. This year has been crazy to say the least😳 All of my shows have been cancelled, I do still have my spaces in The Local stores so at this point all I can do is start getting things ready for the holidays. I will try to remember to get pictures as I go and post some new things.

Here is an update for local friends about the Farmers Market.

2020 Season Update! I am sure everybody has been wondering, what's happening with the Farmers Market? First and Foremost, there will be a farmers' market this season! With that said, your safety and the safety of our vendors is our top priority. Our second priority is keeping access to local food and supporting small business! We have spent countless hours developing a comprehensive safety and sanitation plan addressing all concerns related to COVID-19. We are working with all of our local governments, Tri-County Health, and the Colorado Department of Public Health, and will continue to do so for the entirety of the 2020 season. We are confident that we can safely bring you a market that you can depend on and will have options for all comfort levels.

The first significant change for this season is the start date. We will not be starting Mother's Day Weekend and have postponed the date to Sunday, June 7th. Moving the start date is something we hated to do but felt it was the right thing to do!

Out of all this, there is one change we are excited to announce! We will be launching a virtual farmers market! The virtual farmers market will be an online marketplace where you can shop for what's available at the market that week, place your order and simply pick it up at our convenient pick-up location during the market. This is an excellent option for those that may not be comfortable with the market setting yet, immune-compromised, or just want different opportunity to shop. We have a fantastic network of vendors, and this marketplace will spread over four farmers' markets, making it the biggest of its kind in the state with lots of options. We are putting the finishing touches on it right now, and it will be live sometime in early May! Just watch for the announcement!

So even though we are not able to kick off this season in the way we want, we are still very excited about the market that we do get to bring to you. In a time of so much uncertainty, we are genuinely grateful to have the opportunity to be back in the community!

How's everyones quarantine going? My plan of taking a few weeks off then gearing up for spring shows has turned into a few months! All of my events have been canceled 😔 I am however still participating in the Parker farmers market which will open in June this year. They are taking precautions and also getting a virtual market in place so everyone can still shop and go pick up their purchases at the end of the market. I am not sure yet how the actual market will work but will post so information as soon as it's available.
I have been busy making soap which should be ready and go into The Local stores soon😊
