So you wanna go blonde? I wanna show you the journey that your hair goes through to get there!

𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 1:
Find how dark your hair is using the swatches on the left.

𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 2:
Directly across is what pigments will be exposed during the lightening process.

This is why
☝️1. becoming blonde in one visit isn't always possible if your hair is darker

✌️ 2. maintenance toning is SO important

No matter if you are lifted to a level 8 or 9 or even 10, there is still yellow/warmth in the hair and if that isn't your desired look - 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆!

You might be wondering, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼?

Toner corrects the tone of the hair. For example, if you want to be an ashy blonde, we need to neutralize that yellow and add ash.

𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗱𝗲.

So getting regular tones every 6-8 weeks will keep your blonde the tone you desire! 🙌

And no, you can't just bleach out all the yellow. 🙅‍♀️

The exposed yellow is your hair's protein. If you remove all the protein from your hair it will resemble a pile of overcooked spaghetti noodles when wet and a shedding cotton ball when dry.

And that's best case scenario... your hair usually just completely breaks off. 😬

Some hydrating shampoos + conditioners are too heavy and weigh your hair down.

Some volumizing shampoos + conditioners make your ends feel dry and dull.

This is super common and here's our advice!

𝙼𝚒𝚡 & 𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚌𝚑!

When you find a line I like, try using the volumizing shampoo and hydrating conditioner.

Fine hair can tend to get greasier easier. But sometimes, especially in cold + dry months, our ends tend to get dry. Try using volumizing shampoo for extra cleansing and volume and hydrating conditioner to nourish and replenish those ends!
