What's my secret? Regular trims of at least 1/2 inch or more when necessary every 8-10 weeks. I know a lot of hair stylists will say every 6-8 weeks but in my opinion if you are trying to grow your hair long and strong 6-8 weeks is too often. A lot of women style their hair at least every other day or more. If you are happy with the length of your hair and 6-8 weeks haircuts are within your budget, than styling every day is going to be a non issue. Me personally? My hair doesn't always grow very fast. It depends on the season (like a dog 😄.) Professional shampoo and conditioner keeps my hair healthy especially at the ends so I don't need to get the typical 6-8 week cut. My mom's hair is different. Hers is stronger so not only can she style her hair with heat every other day, she can go long periods of time without trims because her hair grows so fast and so strong the ends don't split as easily as mine do. Everyone's hair has different needs so it's important to cater to those needs and have a routine. I wash my hair twice a week and I blow dry and style with heat maybe once every 3 months just for fun? Any more than that and I have split ends like crazy. Hair typically grows the same rate every month. An average of 1/2 an inch. There are no miracle shampoos, conditioners, oils, vitamins, or supplements that will change that. Some people have success with biotin that is the only thing I will say about that. If your hair is falling out or not growing at the rate you think it's supposed to, please consult your doctor. Other than that, it is it what it is. If that doesn't make me a very good salesman I am okay with that. I will still recommend my professional products because healthy hair is optimal hair in my opinion.
