I’m so grateful for the moms who are lucky enough to have their families and friends nearby while they’re pregnant. They get to experience things like baby showers and celebrate this beautiful journey with the people they love.

For me, I came from a different country, and my husband came from a different state. We arrived here in Texas without any friends or relatives. I made a Walmart baby registry, but it’s just the two of us ordering things and checking our registry so I won’t forget what we need, especially since this is our first baby.

So, if you’re a mom-to-be and you have your family or friends nearby and get to celebrate your baby shower with them, you are truly blessed. Not every pregnant woman gets to experience the same journey.

To all the moms out there, let’s keep fighting and stay strong for what’s ahead. What matters most is that our babies are safe and healthy, and that we are safe and healthy throughout childbirth. And above all, let’s always be thankful to the Almighty. 🙏🤍
