Perimenopause brain fog is REAL, y’all!

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with Semax nasal spray as part of my own approach to supporting focus, mental clarity, and cognitive performance during perimenopause.

Semax is a peptide that’s being studied for its potential neuroprotective and cognitive effects.

For me, this season is about exploring new ways to support the brain as hormones change, and sharing what I learn along the way.

Have you noticed changes in your memory, focus, or word-finding during perimenopause?

An “old” remedy is back…

Recently, I’ve become really interested in angels. I’ve had a couple of experiences in the past with angels, but I’ve never really thought they were something that we could interact with or talk to. I’m doing a deep dive into all the literature I can find on angels and I would love to hear your story about any Angel experiences or Angel wisdom you might have.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is put it all down for a minute.

When you’re carrying responsibilities, decisions, deadlines, and everyone else’s needs, you don’t always need to push harder. Sometimes you need to figuratively take those weights out of your field, set them on a shelf, and say, “I’ll come back for you later.”

Go see a movie. Read a book just for fun. Get outside. Do something frivolous. Do something that brings you joy—without needing it to accomplish anything.

The decisions will still be there when you come back. But you’ll come back different—rested, clearer, and more able to carry them.

You don’t have to hold everything, every minute of every day. ❤️

Going for a walk in my neighborhood a week after being grabbed. It pi**es me off and I’m not going to stop living my life because of some ridiculous criminal. I may look crazy, but I don’t care and I’m ready. Come at me again, bro.😠

This morning a thought hit me out of nowhere: I’ll be 70 in eleven years. 😳😳😳😳

And it bothered me. Then I noticed that it bothered me — and that bothered me more.

Because I plan on living to 120. Which means 70 isn’t the back nine, it’s barely past halftime. So why did the number land like that?

I think it’s because we’ve been handed a story where age is something you survive instead of something you accumulate. Where a higher score means you’re winding down instead of leveling up. I don’t want to age gracefully so much as I want to age relevantly - still building, still curious, still comfortable in my own skin and my own years.

But I don’t think we get there individually. We get there when we stop treating a higher number as a discount on someone’s worth.

So I’m asking honestly: what age has quietly bothered you? And what would it take to feel good about it instead?

It took me two days to get angry. That’s the part I’ve been thinking about.

A teenage boy touched me while I was walking in my neighborhood. And instead of feeling angry, I spent a day (or 2) building a case for why I shouldn’t. 😳

WTF??

This is 2.5 minutes on why. Stay with me — I don’t think I’m the only one...

Last night, something happened that honestly left me shaken. While I was out walking, a man came up behind me, intentionally touched/hit me in a very inappropriate area, laughed, and ran away.

I’m still processing how I feel about it. Part of me wonders if I’m making too much of it, and part of me wonders if I should file a police report.

Has anything like this ever happened to you? How did you handle it? Would you report it, or would you let it go? I’d really appreciate hearing your perspective.

The strategy that made you successful may be the very thing that’s burning you out.

Perimenopause doesn’t mean you’ve lost your drive. It may be your body’s way of telling you it’s time for a new way of succeeding.

✨ Work with your body—not against it.
