​Modern beauty wouldn't exist without q***r culture. From pioneering makeup techniques and revolutionary hairstyling to breaking down gender barriers in self-care, LGBTQ+ creators have always been the blueprint. They have consistently pushed the boundaries of self-expression, teaching the world that beauty is an art form with no limits.

At Avenue Five Institute, we are incredibly proud to cultivate a space where future beauty professionals can bring their whole, authentic selves.

We are still on a high from an absolutely incredible evening supporting the Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC)!

Take a look at this breathtaking art bra designed by one of our recent alumni​, Kimberly Botha. Seeing their creative vision come to life on the big stage was a moment of pure pride for all of us! 🎨✨

Our amazing students and staff were out in full force, rocking the backstage energy to provide stunning hair, makeup, and nails for the event. We’ve proudly supported BCRC for many years, and every year we are more inspired by the community's strength.

Beyond the beautiful designs and runway glamour, the best part of the night was seeing the incredible amount of money raised to support those bravely fighting breast cancer in our community. 💕

Thank you to everyone who poured their heart, soul, and creativity into making this night a massive success. We are already looking forward to next year!
