ACL is going from Mudfest to Dustfest ☀️ Here are my weekend two tips:

• Bring a bandana or pashmina for the dust
• Plan for a lot of walking, heat, and very little shade, stay hydrated
• Entering through Barton? Look for the swag tables with hydration drinks, energy drinks, packets, koozies, and more
• Bring a chair or a waterproof mat if you plan to sit
• Regular boots should be fine; rain boots can probably stay home
• I pack light in a f***y pack or small backpack, but lockers are there if you want to bring more
• After each day, I do a salt bath, hair wash and nasal rinse.

Final tip: even if you don’t usually have allergies, festival dust can still irritate you. Consider bringing an allergy pill or nasal spray that’s appropriate for you, and follow the label directions.

Weekend One, Day 2: I had Pinterest outfit visions… then ACL brought the mud. The final look: strawberry tee, checkered shorts, red rain boots, and a scarf doing double duty. Plot twist: I had no idea it was farmers market theme day, but people complimented me for matching 🍓 If you’re heading to ACL, check the day’s theme before you go—you might already have the perfect outfit in your closet.

Worth every muddy step for RÜFÜS DU SOL headlining, plus Young Miko, it’s Murph, and Lola Young. Mood board: 10/10. Weather-proof ex*****on: 10/10.
