The joy of reflecting on my current pieces! I see something new each time I’m drawn in by the colors. Thank you Gallery of Salons!

Makeup is one of the most fun and creative tasks we have as women. Once we learn what to do and how we like our look, we tend to get in a rut year after year, doing the same thing, same colors etc.. I am always looking for NEW makeup products and ideas. And last Saturday my daughter and I went to the Houston Women's Expo where I previewed a new mineral makeup line! What fun!

It is called "YOUNIQUE" and their premier product is a fiber extender and gel mascara! WOW! This REALLY works! I took off my eyelash extensions I've been wearing for 4 years, and my lashes looked pretty pitiful. I have been applying a lash serum night and day for 2 weeks, and they are growing, but short! Tried this fiber and gel and I have eyelashes again! Needless to say, I will be carrying this line in the salon!

The lash extender and gel come together in a cool eyeglass case and retails for $29.00! Cool! I love it when I find a product that Really WORKS!

We are in full swing of January 2014! My son turned 40,and my nephew and his wife just had a baby boy yesterday! Life is full of so many events! I hope all is going well in your lives!

My BIG announcement is that the Grapevine Salons is moving in late April 2014 to the area of 183/Burnet Rd. area! As many of you know, the Magellan School has many students/parents/CARS...and has pushed our limits to do business as usual. So we will be relocating with Grapevine Salons! OMG! Another move. We will have our own building, bigger suites, new more modern decor, and LOTS of PARKING! We will announce with map, and etc. as it gets closer to the move. Thank you so much for your patience with regard to the parking at our current location and with our move!!
