Almost lost the sun, but we out here! 👌🏽
Had fun with this one today and BOYYYY the calves were BURNING.. so we bout to see how much that affects how long I can jump.
Currently 1 minute on, 1 minute off for 10ish minutes.
Goal: jump consistently for 3 minutes or a full song
My brain tells me “I should probably be tracking” .. but right now I just want to have fun with it and not be another stat I have to monitor 😬
As someone who worked in gyms most of her teens and learned A LOT from incredible trainers well into her 20s and 30s , NO ONE had ever taught me about POTS.
I’ve always had weird or “random” instances where I would suddenly faint/ pass out and it was always unexplained and my family and I NEVER looked into it. Why? 🤷🏻♀️
This became my normal, which made me believe THIS WAS NORMAL for all people. Turns out, it’s not.
Most of my experience has been training in the gym with men, and at the time I thought their intensity is what I needed. .. I understand now that we were in a different time and they weren’t well informed about women’s cycles. Their approach was to “push through” bc your supposed to feel like your going to pass out 👀 .. that became a very toxic environment for me to continually expose myself too, alongside learning how to heal disordered eating from trainers that never had that problem. I knew something else was going on but didn’t understand how to name it.
I was told a couple years ago I should look into POTS and “drink more salt water” but again, resources and funds were limited.
Then I started working with a pelvic floor PT who specialized in POTS (which I had no idea at the time) and she witnessed one of my episodes. From there it’s been a year of me re-learning the signals of my body, how to better understand and support myself and SLOW TF DOWN when I start experiencing the tunnel vision.

Beauty professionals, this is your reminder that constantly being “online” can quietly disconnect you from yourself
When your work already requires you to hold space, create, perform, market, educate, answer messages, film content, and stay “visible”… social media can quickly become overstimulating for the nervous system.
A few small ways to detox and protect your mental health:
• Give yourself no-scroll mornings before stepping into service
• Unfollow accounts that make you feel behind in your career or creativity
• Create without immediately posting everything
• Take moments between guests to reconnect to your body, breath, posture, and energy
• Put your phone down after work and allow your brain to rest from constant consumption
Comparison can make even the most talented artist forget their magic.
The truth is, your clients are craving your presence more than perfect content. Your creativity deepens when your mind has space to breathe. Your ideas become clearer when you stop consuming everyone else’s.
You do not need to be in a constant state of output to be successful.
REST IS PRODUCTIVE TOO 🤍
True abundance is being your authentic self!
Not the filtered version
Not the performative version
Not the version that bends to fit what everyone else expects from you
The real you
The soft you
The bold you
The curious, emotional, creative, passionate, imperfect, evolving you
The moment you stop abandoning yourself to be accepted… you create space for the right people, opportunities, relationships, and experiences to actually find you
Abundance isn’t always loud
Sometimes it looks like peace in your body
Safety in your nervous system
Confidence in your voice
And the freedom to exist without constantly shrinking yourself
Your unique, magical, goofy, wild, loud self is your most magnetic expression! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

There’s something powerful that happens when an educator stops pretending to have it all figured out..
The moment we allow ourselves to share the lessons, the challenges, the moments that stretched us… we give our students permission to do the same
Vulnerability creates safety, safety creates trust, and trust creates transformation
Many of us aren’t just learning a new skill… we’re rebuilding confidence in our voice and our ability to take up space in this industry
As educators, we have the opportunity to become more than just a source of information. We become a support system through the shift. A reminder that growth can feel uncomfortable and beautiful at the same time.
Sometimes the most impactful thing we do is hold space, allow them to process and support them through it 🤍

it makes me wonder what it’s going to take for 40 million people to unfollow this human.. I’m heartbroken for the women that he spoke to like that, and know she will come out on top bc of this..
