So grateful 🙏 this 4th of July to be able to pick up my sweet Rex from camp! This was the first time I had gone three weeks without being able to talk or see to one of my boys and I was 😭😭 worried • panicked at times • diurnal rhythms were off traveling • i kept having to check world clock• i sent 24 messages, three snail mail letters, one care package, and one card from me and the office staff too!! 😷👩🏻‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️

Turns out all was good despite my 🌀!

Meanwhile he was living his best life w/o electronics Camp Longhorn Indian Springs said it’s the best thing he’s ever done🏊🏻‍♂️ 🧗‍♀️ 🏄‍♂️. I got 2 letters and one postcard but who’s keeping count he said he sent more and they’re on the way 😆💌📫

I spoke on autologous and regenerative aesthetics with my brilliant colleagues from around the 🌎— the evolving science of using a patient’s own biology and the help of certain laser wavelengths and other techniques ✨ to restore hair, facial volume, and overlying skin & tissue quality. The evidence is trying to catch up to the promise and hype as not everything we put on or in the face “regenerates”. 🐣

We even are talking about the 🧠 mind - body connection and understanding how our outward appearance affects the way we project ourselves and our inward confidence. 🌹

Visited Notting Hill with necessary shopping and outdoor therapy 🛍️ and then spent time at the Tate Modern, because beauty is part science, part art — and to live at that intersection is the aesthetic plastic surgeon 🖼️ 🧚🏻‍♂️

Not every moment in Seoul was spent under stage lights. Enjoyed exploring new neighborhoods, finding hidden gems, collecting skincare treasures, and making memories. Grateful for the opportunity to experience this incredible city while sharing my passion for aesthetic medicine on the world stage. 🇰🇷❤️ But the pop-ups were amazinggggg…. 🤩

Ok I did work in South Korea 🇰🇷 and I got social proof here! Taking the AMWC Korea podium to introduce Junera® to a global audience — our dual-wavelength 980/1470nm subdermal laser that’s redefining the middle ground between the noninvasive that may underdeliver or require too many treatments and the surgery that patients may not have the downtime or finances for! 👌 Sharing intelligent energy design for lifting, contouring, and dermal regeneration with the brightest minds in the field — and standing alongside the ONYXA Medical team.

Off the podium, we explored Seongsu (more fun pics on next post!)— Seoul’s creative pop-up capital and the beating heart of K-beauty. 🛍️ I also got to experience the ASCE+ Exosome pop-up by BENEV Exosomes BENEV (the global No.1 exosome category creator, headquartered right here in Korea 🧬) — I loved seeing this science up close, at the source of Korean regenerative aesthetics. And I picked up a few things for the trip back home 👩‍🔬🧖‍♀️🐌🪷

AMWC Korea

Yesterday I had the honor of taking the stage at AMWC Korea to present Energy-Based Rejuvenation in Diverse Skin Types to an incredible international audience. Sharing the science of safe, effective device-based treatments across every skin type — in a city that lives and breathes innovation in aesthetics — was a true career highlight.

And the best part? Getting to explore this beautiful city alongside my son and his awesome friend. We wandered the Bukchon Hankon village, with its centuries-old rooftops set against the mountains and grand palace 🏯⛰️, grilled our own Korean BBQ 🥢🔥, and shopped our way through the buzzing streets of Myeongdong (明洞) — skincare capital of the world, naturally. 💆‍♀️✨ From tradition to K-beauty to mountain views, Seoul gives a little touch of everything. The makeup and skincare makes a girl 🤤😭 tears of pure joy! One of 🧳 of everything pleeaaassee 💄😍💸

Grateful for the global aesthetics community, the warm Korean hospitality, and a little adventure with these two!! ❤️👛🦋🍄🌸🌏☔️💅🏼

When aesthetic education goes rural! 🌾✨

As a 6th generation Austinite, Texas isn’t just where I live — it’s who I am. Over half of Texas counties are considered rural, and I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for rural medicine. Bridging a gap between wide open ranch and farm country this is peaceful quiet community of Jarrell.

Central Texas isn’t just where I practice—it’s my heritage. My ascendants were settling down smack dab in the middle of Austin when there were just dirt roads🌳! (now look at it 🤔)

Staying true to that legacy means giving back to the wider community that raised my family for generations, ensuring that top-tier medical education and care reach beyond the major city centers.

Not every day in aesthetics happens inside the operating room. Sometimes it’s about mentorship and showing up where it matters most! I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Cassy Danek FNP and have been impressed by her dedication to learning the three-dimensional anatomy of the face, attention to detail, and commitment to looking - you guessed it- natural!🤠🌿 🌽

Feeling lucky 🍀 after racing to the airport yesterday after praying I’d just make it to Vegas ✈️ on time for meeting!

I spoke on a panel about how GLP1 usage has affected medical aesthetics; my presentation was, “The Medical Weight Loss Revolution: GLP-1 Agonist Usage and its Impact on Facial Aesthetics,”

🔪 The Facelift Renaissance —I spoke on the massive shift happening in our industry right now: the major resurgence of the facelift. While we love our cutting-edge tech, the comprehensive facelift is having a well-deserved moment in the spotlight, solidifying its place as the gold standard 🤩 for structural restoration—especially as we navigate the unique facial volume changes that come with the GLP-1 weight loss revolution.

💉 GLP-1 Agonists — how they’ve transformed aesthetic medicine and, most personally, my own practice. I gave a personal account of the transformation in my own nonsurgical practice from doing everything, everyday 😅to partnering with for the medical spa side 🤗 so they could do what they do best and accommodate an inevitable tidal wave to a true wellness model 🌊 We saw this coming with the advent of GLP1 medical weight loss, holistic cellular wellness, peptides, and brain health, a part of medicine that has changed aesthetic practices everywhere. 🏥

🥁 I was surprised and honored to be chosen as The Maverick Award winner in this session! This award is selected by peers and is described by as the speaker in each scientific session “whose ideas and presentation are the most progressive, out of the box, and likely to make a lasting impact on medical aesthetics for years to come”.
