Fresh after her color boost + looking JUICY 💋✨

This beauty came in for her yearly lip color boost, + this year we decided to turn up the vibrancy! 💄🔥 She already has such a naturally full lip shape, so our goal was simply to enhance what she’s already got with a richer, more vibrant wash of color.

Once healed, this will soften by about 50% into a more subtle, wearable version of this shade while still giving her that gorgeous pop of color 🙌🏻

How should we celebrate?!

Let’s talk about old PMU + “nothing left” after healing, because this is one of those situations where it’s a blessing 👏🏼

Kaitlyn came to me with powder brows she had done a couple years ago from another artist. She was disappointed that they had faded so much that there was nothing left (literally within a couple months after getting them done)

But from a PMU artist’s perspective? I was thrilled!!

When previous pigment has faded completely, we’re left with a much cleaner canvas. That meant Kaitlyn didn’t need laser removal, + I was able to redesign her brows without fighting against heavily saturated, old pigment underneath.

Her goal this time was also very specific: less straight + more of a subtle / lifted arch (+ of course results that last!)

That’s where good brow design + technique comes in 👏🏼 I strategically sharped her brows to create a more naturally uplifted look

We chose nano hybrid brows to give her the best of both worlds: delicate hairstrokes for dimension + soft shading for a little more definition

And her skin?! 10/10. Absolutely beautiful to work on 😍

Now comes my favorite part: watching the brows heal. Because fresh PMU is only half the story.. the healed result is what really matters
