✨ DO’S & DON’TS FOR GOOD NAIL RETENTION ✨

💅🏽 DO:
• Wear gloves when cleaning, washing dishes, or using harsh chemicals
• Apply cuticle oil daily to keep nails hydrated & flexible
• Be gentle with your nails — they are jewels, not tools!
• Prebook your fills every 2-3 weeks to avoid lifting & breakage
• Message your nail tech if you notice lifting instead of picking at it
• Keep your hands moisturized
• Trust the process & follow aftercare instructions

🚫 DON’T:
• Pick, peel, or rip off your nails (this damages your natural nails BADLY)
• Use your nails to open cans, packages, or scratch things
• Bite your nails or cuticles
• Wait too long between fills
• Soak your nails in hot water for long periods of time
• Glue lifted nails back down yourself
• Go to unlicensed techs using unsafe products or improper prep

Good retention is a TEAM effort 🤍 I do my part during prep & application, and proper aftercare at home keeps your sets looking fresh as long as possible! 💅🏽
