This patient was dissolved two weeks prior.
Here is the initial assessment post-dissolving of her lips prior to her first full session of re-injection.
Samara’s Method and approach to lip augmentation is much more involved than most lip techniques.

So much B.S. šŸ’©on social media. One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetic medicine is that ā€œoff-labelā€ means a treatment is ā˜ ļødangerous or āš ļøexperimental. It doesn’t.ā€¼ļø

Off-label simply means an FDA-approved medication is being used in a way not specifically listed in the manufacturer’s prescribing information (package insert)—such as treating a different anatomical area, using a different dose, or for a different indication. The medication itself remains FDA-approved. This is NOT ā€œdoing againstā€ manufacturer recommendations.

A package insert is not a textbook, and FDA labeling is not a ceiling on medical knowledge. Manufacturers can only *promote* approved indications—but qualified clinicians may use approved medications off-label when it is appropriate, there are scope of practice guidelines such as ā€œwhat a reasonable and prudent nurse would doā€.

In medicine, qualified medical providers prescribe medications off-label every day when supported by scientific evidence, clinical experience, and sound medical judgment. In fact, many accepted standards of care across medicine began as off-label uses.

many of the medication’s, you take over-the-counter from the local pharmacy are being used off label and you don’t even know it. That does not mean it’s dangerous. It means the people accusing off-label use as being dangerous are simply ignorant.

From Private Equity to your Cardiologist/OB/GYN/Urologist/Allergist/Anesthesiologist/any doctor, or worse , non-medical professional thinking they can hire any random RN. šŸ’šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø
Do you know who is injecting your face and what training they’ve had? I’m not talking about titles. Some of the biggest offenders are egomaniac doctors who think their credentials entitle them to more respect and talent. Yup, I said it. šŸ’…šŸ»
If this isn’t your full-time career and life’s work, and you don’t live eat sleep and breathe aesthetics, I don’t care about your opinion. (Chances are I don’t care anyway- unless you’re my kid or paying my bills.)

Over-filled Lips, chin & face-But Filler ISN’T THE PROBLEM! Our industry as a whole is the problem- providers, techniques, money, pharmaceutical companies, marketing, social media misconceptions , ā€œinfluencersā€ , ugh! Out of control.

Presented ā€˜22 on dissolving & now nearly 1000 vials of hylenex since 2019… I still see patients who have been ā€œdissolved multiple timesā€ by other providers. Since there are no standardized protocols, I researched this topic and this medication extensively and developed my own protocol.
Although it seems like I’m much more expensive than other places… charging 800–2000+ how much is your time, trauma, and frustration worth going back to the same provider multiple times for a few hundred bucks? In 8 years I have never brought a single patient back twice.
It’s one and done, lips refilled in 10 to 14 days.
