This one stayed with me… Andrew Garfield wasn’t just talking about losing his mom. He was talking about what grief actually is. For so many of us, grief feels like something we’re supposed to fix. Move past. Get over. Leave behind. But what if grief isn’t evidence that something is wrong? What if it’s evidence that something was incredibly right? Andrew describes grief as all the unexpressed love that remains. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that. Over the past couple of years, I’ve learned that loss comes in many forms. We grieve people. We grieve places. We grieve chapters of life we thought would last forever. And sometimes we judge ourselves for still feeling it. But maybe the ache isn’t there because you haven’t healed. Maybe it’s there because love doesn’t simply disappear when someone does. The pain reminds us that what we had mattered. That it was real. And in a strange way… that’s something worth being grateful for. If you’re carrying someone in your heart today, this is your reminder: Love doesn’t end.
