After someone knowingly exposed me while sick and gave me pneumonia, I've decided to wear masks at all appointments for the foreseeable future.

I'm not asking you to mask up, I'm just taking precautions to protect my health.

With my compromised immune system, I'll be working in a mask from now on to minimize my chances of getting sick.

Dear Valued Clients,

I want to take a moment to clearly communicate my policy regarding illness, as it is essential for the health and safety of everyone.

I have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to clients attending appointments while sick. If you are feeling unwell in any way, or if anyone in your immediate household is sick, I ask that you please reschedule your appointment. Out of respect for your health and others, I do not charge a same-day cancellation fee for illness-related rescheduling.

Recently, I had a situation where a client came in while sick, and I have since developed pneumonia. Situations like this have a significant impact—not only on my health, but also on my ability to work. When I become ill, I am forced to reschedule a full schedule of clients, resulting in lost income and additional medical expenses. I also have an autoimmune condition, which makes me more susceptible to illness.
I truly value and respect your health, and I ask for the same consideration in return.

Moving forward, if a client arrives for an appointment while visibly sick, I will reschedule the appointment immediately.
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and respect in helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
